Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Our primary classes have commenced Check-In assessment this week and will continue until the end of next week. Students have been reminded to bring in their earphones and be ready to begin at the beginning of the morning session. Each primary class will have approximately one test per week.
A reminder for all parents/ carers of Year 4 students, permission and money are due by next Friday for the Blue Mountains excursion. Please ensure that all updated medical information is submitted in the Sentral app including any medication that is required during the excursion. This is always a fantastic excursion packed with lots of history and natural environments. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
We also have Meerkat Productions visiting our school next week as part of our belated Book Week celebrations. This is free event for all students from K-6. Please ensure you give permission via the Parent Portal.
The P&C Father’s Day stall is all organised and ready to go. Students will be able to purchase gifts in their classes on Friday morning. Gifts will range from $2-$15, please ensure money comes to school in a secure purse or bag. A huge thank you to our P&C for putting this together for our fabulous dads. Have a wonderful Father’s Day on Sunday, I hope you all get very spoilt!
Our school concert is “gearing up”; all classes are now well into rehearsals and organising costumes. There will be matinee and evening performance on Thursday 26th September. More details will be in next week’s newsletter.
Have a great week!
Kind regards
Sharon Hawker
Principal
