Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to Week 7! As mentioned last week, we have a busy end to the term. Our school leaders had a wonderful trip to Sydney, even though it was rather hot and sticky. Thank you to Mrs Pengilly and Mr Swords for taking the students. From all accounts their tour of Government House and meeting the Governor was one of the highlights and everyone took something away from the trip. There will be a full report in next week’s newsletter.
Good luck to our 19 swimmers who are heading off to Dubbo for the Western Region Trials on Friday. I’m sure everyone will do very well and swim lots of PBs, our swimmers always improve their times in these situations.
The first round of PSSA Cricket will commence next Wednesday 15th March against Mulyan Public School at Canowindra. Mr Bates is the organising teacher and permission notes will be sent out via Sentral Parent Portal today. The students will be walking down to The Oval at 9am and will return by lunch.
Three Way interviews will be taking place next week. For those of you who are yet to book an appointment, these can be made via the Sentral Parent Portal. We’re looking forward to seeing as many parents as possible. Students will also be present at the meetings and teachers place great value on these meetings and they provide a wonderful opportunity to share goals and important information.
Primary swimming for sport will continue for the next 3 weeks, weather permitting, even though the pool closes to the general public. Please ensure your child/ren bring swimming gear every Friday until the end of term.
Our P&C AGM will be held next Monday night at The Canowindra Service Club at 6:30pm. We’re looking forward to seeing as many people as possible turn up and be involved in a great little committee which provides amazing support for our school. Look forward to seeing lots of new faces.
Have a great week!
Kind regards
Sharon Hawker

The provider is working closely with the Early Childhood Regulator to confirm service approval for as many services as possible, however a start date for this service cannot be confirmed until service approval is finalised.
The Department is aware of the importance of this service for our community and is working to find an alternative arrangement to support families in the meantime.
